Mr. T and 7 Weeks Post-op Jaw Surgery.
I can't believe it has been 7 weeks since I had my face rearranged. I am feeling great. I started chewing and I am blowing elastics left and right. The Oral Surgeon said that the elastics will start to snap once you gain strength in you jaw...well, my jaw is the Mr. T of Jaws. I have been snapping elastics like crazy.

So, I'm curious - why did you have to go through the surgery? I'm still debating it....
I went through with the surgery mainly to prevent future problems. I was clenching and grinding my teeth at night and starting to wear down my teeth and wake up with headaches. I also wanted the esthetic bonus of the surgery (I had a gummy smile and an overbite). I have to say the first week was terrible but since then every day has gotten better.
You look great and your pug is really cute. It has been 8weeks post op for me and I am still very swollen and my lips won't touch, you are very fortunate. Keep up the greta recovery
Ahh finnie, dishin' out all the doog kisses! It's nice to have something to look forward to, eh? May won't take that long to get here!
